Manufacturer
The brand does not have an official website, but according to information available on the Internet, it turns out that this brand of diets belongs to the Russian company, which owns an extensive chain of Beethoven pet stores. They are engaged in production, whose headquarters are located in Madrid.
This is a common practice that has several obvious advantages: the seller does not need to buy expensive equipment, but only needs to order the creation of the necessary recipe and production. As a result, everyone is happy - the plant makes a profit, and the buyer receives a quality product at a relatively low price.
The owner of the brand promises the buyer a super-premium menu that does not contain soy, chemical impurities and other dubious components. Whether this is actually true will become clear later, after a detailed analysis of nutrients.
Range
Royal Farm dog food is presented in the Beethoven retail chain in the form of both dry food and wet canned food. Dry granules come in the following types:
- For puppies up to 10 months of age (three types, depending on the size of the breed);
- For adults of small breeds with chicken;
- For medium-sized dogs: with lamb and chicken;
- For large breeds based on chicken;
- For older animals;
- Sensitive – for pets with delicate digestion. The protein base is salmon.
In addition to dry croquettes, Royal Farm also offers wet food - 150 gram lamisters with different flavors:
- Veal for puppies;
- With veal for older pets;
- For adults - three different flavors: lamb, turkey, and duck meat.
This is the entire range available to customers at the moment.
To analyze the composition of the food of this brand, Royal Farm Adult Medium Chicken is best suited - food for adult animals of medium breeds. It is the most versatile and suits the maximum number of pets.
So, this menu consists of the following nutrients:
- Chicken flour (19.5%);
- Fresh chicken (18%);
- Corn;
- Rice;
- Poultry fat.
Typically, the first 5 components on the list are the basis of the food, that is, they make up the lion's share of the product, and the rest is only a small part of the composition. So, next on the list are wheat and barley, 2.5% chicken liver hydrolysate, beet pulp and yeast. The contents of fishmeal, eggs, calcium carbonate and chicory are then listed. Rounding out the list of nutrients are MOS, monocalcium phosphate, salt and Yucca Schidigera. The vitamin and mineral complex included in the diet is indicated separately.
The guaranteed nutrient content is as follows:
There is no water content listed here, but dry croquettes often have an average moisture content of around 10%.
In principle, the composition and guaranteed analysis are not bad, but what is hidden behind each of the ingredients is still unclear. A detailed analysis of each component will put everything in its place.
The source of proteins in this diet is chicken meal, fresh chicken meat, fish meal, and eggs. All of these are excellent sources of protein that are absorbed almost completely by the dog’s body. The only caveat is that fresh meat loses water during processing, so the stated 18% of chicken will turn into 5-6% in the finished product.
Don't forget about vegetable protein - due to the high content of cereals, there will be a decent amount of it, but it is not as beneficial for the dog as protein of animal origin.
The source of fat here is poultry fat. It is usually obtained by rendering the remains of carcasses after deboning. This is a good component that can provide your pet with the necessary lipids and fatty acids.
There are a lot of them in this diet. It’s all because of cereals - here there is corn, rice, wheat and barley. The total amount of cereal crops in the diet will be 35-40%, and this is too much for a predator’s diet. This reduces the cost of the product, but such additives provide virtually no benefit.
Additional components
Royal Farm dog food contains chicken liver hydrolysate - an excellent additive that is a natural flavor. Thanks to the strong smell of liver, the food acquires a pleasant aroma and is eaten with great pleasure by the animal.
- Beet pulp is a waste product from sugar production. A source of plant fiber, which is essential for healthy digestion.
- Yeast is a source of B vitamins. Helps improve the condition of hair and skin.
- Calcium carbonate is a food additive designed to provide the animal with the necessary dose of calcium. In addition, the substance helps reduce acidity in the stomach.
- Chicory - or rather its root - is a source of the prebiotic inulin, which improves the functioning of the digestive system and controls blood sugar levels.
- MOS is a prebiotic that promotes the normal functioning of the digestive tract.
- Monocalcium phosphate is a food additive, a source of calcium and phosphorus for animals.
- Yucca Schidigera is a plant that, due to its composition, effectively reduces the level of odors from the animal, including the smell from feces.
After analyzing the ingredients, we can say that the diet is of decent quality, at least for the premium segment. It falls a little short of super-premium, because the composition does not contain vegetables, natural sources of vitamins and other useful additives, but contains large quantities of grains.
Diets of this brand are sold exclusively in the Beethoven chain of stores, and all prices are taken from the official online store. So, the price for Royal Farm dog food is as follows:
- Royal Farm Adult Medium Chicken – 590 rub. for 2 kg. pack, and 3450 rub. for 12 kg. bag.
- Royal Farm Sensitive – 720 rub. for 2 kg, and 3360 rub. for 12 kg.
- Royal Farm Puppy Mini – 591 rub. for 2 kg.
- Canned food – 75 rub. for 150 grams, regardless of taste.
The prices are quite reasonable, considering the good composition of the diet and its imported production.
Galina Sergeevna, owner of the outbred Mushka:
«
The fly is not capricious and eats everything.
It was decided to switch her to drying, so as not to invent a personal balanced menu for her. No sooner said than done! We bought a bag of Royal Pharm food on the advice of a seller in Beethoven, and have never regretted it - the dog eats the entire portion, looks great and feels great. I recommend it to everyone! »
Maria Gus, spaniel breeder:

Royal Farm cat food review
Royal Farm dry cat food is produced in Spain by Visan Industrias Zootecnicas for the Beethoven pet store chain. The food does not have an official website, so information about it (compositions, feeding rates) is only available on the website https://bethowen.ru. It also says that this food belongs to the super premium class.
Visan Industrias Zootecnicas produces pet food under its own brands - Healthy, Proct-cat, Imagine, Optima. And specifically for the Beethoven pet store chain, Dukes Farm food is also produced, albeit by a different company and in another country.
Royal Farm feed composition
Let's look at the composition of Royal Farm food using the example of the Adukt Chicken option (for adult cats, with chicken). To look at it, we went to the website of the Beethoven online pet store, since it is not yet possible to visit the store itself to take a photo of the composition from the packaging.
Composition data from the website of the Beethoven pet store.
The first ingredients - fresh chicken meat (35%) and dehydrated chicken meat (23%) are sources of protein. After cooking, the volume of fresh meat will decrease by 3-4 times, but still the overall percentage of meat in the finished dry food remains quite good (more than 30%).
In third and fourth place are corn and rice, which are sources of carbohydrates. Chicken liver hydrolysate is a source of protein as well as natural flavor. Chicken fat and fish oil are sources of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids.
Corn gluten is a source of plant proteins. Beet pulp is a source of fiber. Yeast is a source of B vitamins. Sodium chloride is a sodium salt, sodium polyphosphate is described as “an active substance that binds calcium in saliva and prevents its deposition on teeth in the form of plaque,” potassium salt.
Fructooligosaccharides and mannanoligosaccharides are prebiotics. Yucca Schidigera - reduces the smell of excrement. Citrus fruit extract has antioxidant properties.

Customer Reviews
On the advice of a consultant in Beethoven, I bought Royal Farm dry food for sterilized cats, with chicken, for the cat. For the first time I took a small 400 g package to see if the cat liked it. The composition seemed good to me, the food looked and smelled like food. Having searched for reviews about it, I found almost nothing, I only found out that it is not Spanish, but, like Duke's Furm, belongs to the Beethoven chain.
Again, some kind of deception on the part of the store, but since I bought it, I decided to feed it anyway. The cat ate with pleasure, but in the end he vomited. I chalked it up to coincidence; maybe it was just time for the fur to regurgitate. But the second time everything happened again! In general, I will no longer trust the “good” consultants in Beethoven and will only take food from proven brands.
Hello. I recently switched my male and female cats to this food. It turned out to be very good, the cats liked it, they eat it better than the previous one. So far it’s very satisfying, because the composition is also better than that of the same promoted Royal Canin.
Price and where to buy
You can purchase any Royal Farm food for cats in the Beethoven Online Store, which specializes in selling products for pets.

Just don’t forget that the cost of delivery will also be added to the cost of the feed.
General information about the manufacturer
The rights to the Royal Farm brand belong to the Russian pet store Beethoven. At their request, Visan Industrias Zootecnicas produces feed in a Spanish factory. The same corporation produces its own pet products under the Optima, Imagine, Proct-Cat and Healthy brands, which strengthens the brand's credibility. Beethoven's pet store also sells another of its own food, Dukes Farm, so this is not new to them.

Detailed characteristics of Royal Farm feed
By Russian standards, Royal Farm is considered a good food. On the shelves of pet stores you can find better quality options, but in some cases the food of the brand in question is perceived better by animals. It is important not to confuse the Royal Farm brand with Royal Canin products: the latter is similar in name, but worse in composition, which can cause misunderstandings between pet owners and sellers. The range of diets can hardly be called wide, but it has everything you need for everyday nutrition at different stages of a pet’s life.
The manufacturer does not use the most honest marketing techniques: the proportion of meat is indicated taking into account the water in the fresh product, but in the dry residue it actually does not exceed 25–30%
Table: Royal Farm feed range
Since in general the compositions of feeds are identical and may differ only in the set of preventive additives, we will consider everyday diets for animals without special needs. We will include both dry and wet products in this review to provide a complete unbiased opinion.
Royal Farm dry food for adult cats with salmon contains the following components:
- fresh salmon (35%);
- dehydrated salmon (15%);
- corn;
- rice;
- corn gluten;
- chicken fat;
- hydrolyzed salmon (3%);
- chicken meal;
- beet pulp;
- cellulose;
- yeast;
- fish fat;
- sodium chloride;
- sodium polyphosphate;
- potassium chloride;
- inulin (fructooligosaccharides);
- mannanoligosaccharides;
- Yucca Schidigera;
- citrus extract.
Ingredients of animal origin come first. This is very good. Cats are obligate carnivores and feed primarily on meat and internal organs of prey. They obtain plant ingredients only from the stomachs of killed game. Both fresh and dehydrated meat are presented here. The share of the latter does not change after heat treatment, but water evaporates from fresh water. As a result, it becomes 4–5 times less. As a result, approximately 20–25% of meat remains. This is the average.
Chicken feed contains more meat - about 30%. It is clear that salmon is more expensive than chicken, but it would be a good solution in this case to make the diet hypoallergenic. It contains a small amount of chicken flour, which can cause an allergic reaction if you have an individual intolerance to poultry protein. When my friend’s cat developed spots, itching and scratching, we couldn’t figure out what was wrong for a long time. At first they thought it was the corn, but switching to grain-free feed didn’t help. There was no fish in the new diet either. Only later did we examine the compositions in detail, compare them and realize that the reason may lie in chicken or poultry protein in general. Switching to a completely fish food helped.
The unusual shape of the granules reduces the load on the fangs and prevents the swallowing of pieces without prior grinding
Although the benefits of the diets include the absence of wheat, there remains a large amount of corn, which is divided into 2 ingredients: corn itself and corn gluten. It can also trigger the development of diabetes, obesity and pancreatitis. Considering the rice, there are too many cereals. This is normal for premium food, but we are considering the super-premium category, so this can be considered a disadvantage. The manufacturer also adds sodium chloride, i.e. salt. Here it is needed as a preservative. The company claims to use only plant extracts and vitamin E for preservation, but the information is not true. Salt is not the safest preservative. It irritates the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract and urinary system, contributes to the disruption of water-salt balance and increases thirst. In combination with a relatively high proportion of calcium, this can trigger the development of urolithiasis.
The color of the granules resembles economy or premium food, which indicates a large number of grains in the composition
The advantages of the food include the presence of preventive additives. Sodium polyphosphate prevents the formation of tartar. Fiber and beet pulp improve intestinal motility. Yucca Schidigera reduces the unpleasant odor of feces. Fish oil theoretically has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, immunity, skin and coat, but its proportion is insignificant. Chicken fat remains the main source of lipids.
Royal Farm wet food with duck contains the following ingredients:
- meat and meat by-products (40%, of which 4% is duck);
- vegetable by-products (4%) (0.4% inulin);
- minerals and vitamins (3%);
- meat sauce (53%).
The composition leaves an ambiguous impression. For some reason the manufacturer breaks the standard order of ingredients and lists the meat sauce at the end when it should come first. This borders on deceiving buyers, since this is the only reason the list of components looks attractive. In reality, meat and meat by-products also contain a lot of liquid, so we can say that the feed consists mainly of water. In addition, the manufacturer does not indicate the specific grade and type of fabric. The mixture could be anything. This can include both muscle tissue and waste, which have almost zero nutritional value. The second is more common, since in the case of using carcasses or clean flesh, the manufacturer has nothing to hide.
It is difficult to give wet food an objective rating. It contains relatively a lot of meat: not all brands have ingredients of animal origin in the first place. Most often, the largest part is occupied by cereals. There are practically none here, but the manufacturer decided to save money in another original way: add more water and move it to the end of the list. The result was a meaty, but not very nutritious food. In pates and canned food from other brands, the broth content usually barely reaches 30–35%. The manufacturer does not seem to specifically indicate the recommended serving sizes and leaves a vague wording that for each animal the norm will differ depending on individual characteristics. It is possible to give such food to a pet, but it is not economically feasible. For example, my cat even after two spiders asks for more. This is taking into account the fact that I give her Royal Farm wet food exclusively as a treat, calculating the total daily calorie intake.
